[CASE]ing Deepti

Hi, welcome to a post to share a card I made at the weekend but as I've been away from my craftroom for a couple of days, didn't get to finish it 'til this morning.
My fellow STAMPlorations buddy LauraJane posted a card that was linked to the blog of Kelly Latevola, where she is hosting a challenge based on her [CASE]ing Genius series. I followed her link and found this wonderful group of exceedingly talented artists that she has [CASE}d over the year.
She is asking for work influenced by one of the [CASE]ees. Well when I saw that the wonderful Dee of  Dee's Art Utopia I just had to play along.
When I first started blogging she was one of the few card makers that really sang to me. I loved her soft watercolours  and clean and simple style. I've been lucky enough to be have been on the same DT as her at ATSM as well as being able to use her new stamps over at STAMPlorations. So here is my CASE of genius -

and this is Dee's wonderful inspirational card

I have to say that this same card influenced me once before when I saw it over a year ago and I made this card here
This time I let the daisies fill the paper and die cut several black happys, glued them together, then adhered them to the painted panel. The birthday is from one of Dee's stamp sets, Balloons and Banners.
6/11 Oops forgot to nominate someone to case, a genius cardmaker, mmm I nominate Loll of Stamping with Loll!

Thanks for looking.
