Uniko BA Inspiration meets Color Hues #38

Good afternoon. As it's the 1st of the month there's a new challenge over at Color Hues. This time around we have a lovely spring like combination and here is my inspiration card.

I used a no line effect with Copic colouring for this card, framing my sentiment with a thin frame so that the central tulip is still visible.
All details about the colouring can be found on the Uniko blog, where I've also shared these watercolour interpretations using the same stamp set.

So how will this colour combination inspire you?
As usual we'd love to see your takes in the gallery but if you need a little more inspiration check out the rest of the team and our GDs here.

  1. Your coloring is perfection! Beautiful cards! Have a great week!

  2. Prachtige kaart met de tulpen
Kan zo de tulpen van het land zijn
De tulpen gaan nu weer bloeien
Hier staan hele velden vol met tulpen

  3. Beautiful. Love tulips, especially the way you coloured these.

  4. Julie, You are so talented! I found myself just starring at all of these for quite some time. Your card for CH is stunning!

  5. WOW! Your colouring / watercolouring is AMAZING!! xx

  6. I absolutely love the sentiment placed in the center of those gorgeous blooms surrounded by the touch of gray. WOW! Your coloring - especially the no line - is fabulous!

  7. Julie your tulips are beautiful! One of my favourite springtime flowers, they are a bit of hit and Miss where I live. Often the tulips bloom and then we get a surprise snow that often kills them off too soon. Besutiful on your cards!

  8. Your coloring of those tulips (in all three variations) is just fabulous! I love tulips, but like Tracey, we've had a hard time with them, but for a different reason. It turns out deer like them quite a bit. We had some in a pot last year, and we watched from the window as the deer nipped them off the stem---leaving the flowers behind which was even more annoying.

  9. WOW! Gorgeous tulips cards! Talk about showcasing the versatility of this set and your amazing creativity!
