When life gives you lemons ....

Good evening folks.
Time for a brand new challenge over at HLS CAS. Here's my card based on the theme.

This card uses a stamp set I've had for ages and has remained uninked, it's from Avery Elle and I love the large fruit images and the matching sentiments.
I started by inking up the lemon outline with Altenew's Pure Graphite, stamped two and heat embossed with clear EP on MM paper. Using Mustard Seed DI smooched onto my craft mat, I added the colour in a watercolour style, adding the detail with a Zig Water Color marker. For the leaves I used a mix of green Zig pens, then fussy cut them all out when dry.
On one of the lemons, I stamped the sentiment with the same ink as before and heat embossed with clear EP.
On a panel of white card, I stamped the graduated dots using a Uniko stamp and Squeezed Lemonade DI and the fussy cut lemons were added, minus the odd leaf.
For more citrus and zingy inspiration, please check out the HLS CAS page.
