Just lie down 'til the feeling passes

Evening all. Hope your weekend went swimmingly and you are keeping well.
I'm off to the fracture clinic tomorrow to hopefully get the all clear from the orthopaedic surgeon to start the heavy duty physio on my arm!
Over at HLS CAS its the start of a new challenge and bearing in mind what is in front of me, I chose this image.

I thought it was the perfect card for this month's challenge -

This Stamping Bella stamp is supposed to be chicks but at a Copic class last year, Faye showed us how to stretch them by turning them into robins as well as penguins! I've done the robin transformation a couple of times but here are the penguins.
I coloured them with Copic markers then fussy cut and mounted them over a MFT die cut window. I popped a tiny bit of DP from the scrap box behind them to make them feel at home!

For more fab CAS inspiration check out the team here and then why not join in?

I'm playing along at:-

  1. Funny! I love that sentiment and your card design too!

  2. My feelings exactly! I recognise those cheeky penguins Julie and think they're ideal for this card.

  3. Great job turning these sweet critters into penguins. And I LOVE the sentiment ... I think that's how most of us feel. :) Fun and creative card Jules! xx

  4. LOL...what a great sentiment!! Love how the chicks have been transformed into pingus!! A great card xx

  5. LOL! What a great card .... love the sentiment! Hope everything went well at the fracture clinic xx

  6. I love your chickens dressed as penguins. Great work with Copics, they look stunning. funny cheerful scene and your birds are so amused.

  7. LOVE how you have stretched your stamps. I believe this card was made especially for me?? Anyway, I can relate. LOL. Great card! xx
