Afternoon folks. It's a new month and a new colour pairing from Color Hues.
This time, despite the weather here telling us to the contrary, we have an autumnal colour duo for you chosen by Stef, here's my take.

That is one cool background Julie and I love how you don't need to add much else as it does all the work for you! Awesome masculine card but easily changeable with different colors for a more feminine card! Beautifully done!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun card Jules, and it certainly plays a bit with your eyes, which is what I love about it. Such a great idea with the challenge colors and it makes a terrific masculine card.
ReplyDeleteHow fun is your card! You've achieved a wonderful patterned paper look with your combination of ink blending and shimmer spritz. Masculine marvelous!

This card is mind-blowing! I knew right away it wasn't 3D, but it certainly looks like it. Most of the guys I know would love receiving this card--but so would the ladies!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Julie! I love the pattern you created with the stencil!
ReplyDeleteThis is mindboggling to me, Julie! Your chevrons are so pretty and I'm amazed at how you made them!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I love that it can be either masculine or feminine!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great technique and your results are stellar, Julie! Your shading on one side of each chevron gives the look of a fold in the middle, which is simply fabulous. Love this is the challenge colors!
ReplyDeleteThat stencil is so 3D in appearance! I love Ardyth's creations as well and this is a wonderful take on her original. (I will say I do like your colors better. Shhh. LOL!)
ReplyDeleteJules your can is gorgeous! I love that you created your own patterned background and a square card inspired by Ardyth! You rocked the stencil, so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! I love the dimensional look the chevrons give and those lovely autumn colours!
