Morning all.
Well it looks like the wall to wall blue skies of the last few weeks have disappeared but we can't really complain can we? The water butts for the sheep and veg garden are low and we need them replenished, at least I've managed to bottom the grass which had invaded my borders after last years deluges prevented me from getting on to grub it out!
Anyway, time for a new challenge from Cardz4Guyz. This week we would love to see your masculine take on-
FANCY FOLDS
Now as many of you regulars know, I'm not a fan of frippery and layers but I tried, keeping it very simple with this easel fold card featuring LOTV's Toot Toot image.
Using half of an A4 panel of white card, I folded halfway across the long edge then have again from the short edge to the center. You can see it better here.
It's a very simple way to get a stand for your image.
Once my base was made, I chose my DP from the stash. I had a scrap of an old road atlas page, so found some NitWits DP to match. My scrap of DP needed a little bit of red to tie it into the atlas paper, so I drew a line with a red fine liner and a t square ruler over the white stripes. Each panel was mounted onto red card, then they were added to the base, followed by the image and sentiment on foam pads to form a block for the tent fold to rest against.
So what fancy folds can you make? If you are unsure there are lots of ideas from the rest of the team over at Cardz4Guyz. Looking forward to seeing your makes in the gallery.
