Morning, over halfway through April already, so time for a brand new colour duo from Color Hues.
This time we've a lovely pastel combo for you, perfect for a baby card like this?
I needed a card for my SiL's grand daughter's imminent twins arrival and thought these colours were perfect, neither too pink or blue, a sweet neutral palette!
I used a retired Uniko stamp set, stamping the onesie onto a piece of dotty aqua and lilac DP from the stash and embossing with white EP. I glued them onto some scrap card to give them a little support before fussy cutting out. I did try to add a little shading, not sure it worked though.
I knew I had some small windy day pegs in my stash somewhere but when I found them they were a tad too bulky for posting, so decided to remove the spring and glue each half over my twine washing line and cute onesies instead. The sentiment was made up from the same stamp set and I found a couple of pearls in my stash.
So where which direction will these new colours take you? If you need inspiration the DT and our GD have some fab ideas for you here. Looking forward to seeing your makes in the gallery.
Twins, I bet they are so excited and perhaps a bit overwhelmed. Darling CAS Baby card. Have a great Easter Weekend!
