Color Hues #34

Good afternoon, where did January go? I can't believe we are already into February but then again I have made a card for the new challenge at Color Hues! This time our colour combo has a decidedly romantic feel. Here's my card using our new colours.

I must admit I'm not one for Valentine's Day and neither is the OH, so it's a good job really. Anyway I thought that the colours dictated the theme and this card isn't overly mushy.
To begin, I stamped Uniko's Background Blocks Horizontal Stripes in Altenew's Obsidian Black onto a panel of white card. Using a heart shaped piece of white card, I made my mini envelope, after consulting Pinterest, and added it at a jaunty angle over the background. Using some hearts of various sizes die cut from a mix of plain red, glitter and mirror card, I created an arrangement coming out of the envelope. The sentiment is from a StampingBella set.
The finished panel was trimmed and added to an A6 base card on pads.
So what will the colours inspire you to create? So far you haven't disappointed us making choosing the winners very difficult!
For more inspiration, please check out the rest of the DT here along with our GD for this challenge.
