Dad, Man of the Moment

Good morning. It's time for a brand new challenge at Cardz4Guyz. This time it's -

FATHER'S DAY

Here's my inspiration card for you.

I took my inspiration from a Jennifer McGuire video featuring sentiment strips here, I loved the graphic quality of her card. She used different sentiments but I thought I could apply the same ideas to a Father's Day card.
On an A6 white note card, I stamped a background using a selection of larger phrase stamps on the theme of Father's Day, using Altenew's Limestone ink. The sentiment strips were stamped with a selection of various stamps from lots of different sets, MFT, Altenew, Uniko and a freebie! The DAD was cut from black card using alphabet dies and the stars from a couple of MFT sets and an ancient Martha Stewart border punch. All the sentiments were added on pads over the background and the stars added.
Quite a simple idea but quite adaptable.
So where will you go with our theme? We'd love to see your cards in the gallery. For more masculine ideas, just check out the Cardz4Guyz blog.
