GeometricFlower

Afternoon folks.
I've been having a bit of a play in the craftroom but I'm not sure if I like the end result.

What do you think?
I've tried this before here using a butterfly image so thought it would work with this large gerbera image too.
I stamped and then masked the large gerbera daisy from Uniko then added some leaves and coloured the image with Copics. The panel was then cut with a Sizzix hexagon plate die and reassembled on a white base card. The gaps looked a little too wide and perhaps too much of the image was lost, so I penciled in the missing sections of the stamp which improved it slightly. I popped up one or two of the hexagons for added interest.

I will join in the challenges over at:-

            September Challenge: Geometric Patterns

Thanks for calling around. :)

  2. I prefer the butterfly. You are right in that it doesn't quite look right.

  3. I think it looks awesome! The blue pearls balanced it, too. And whatever you did to pencil in the missing pieces duds the trick for me. Great card!
