Birthday Wishes

Good morning peeps and welcome to the weekend!
This week at Fantasy Stampers we are starting a new challenge. We would like to see your stamped projects on the theme of -

AUTUMN LEAVES

A little early I thought for this subject but as I walked the dog yesterday there were quite a few leaves turning in the hedgerow.
Here is my card for your inspiration.

The background is the stamped element here. I took an oak leaf stamp from the Creative Expressions Autumn Foliage set and used Dried Marigold to stamp all over a piece of orange card. I then cut out some leaf shapes using my NEBUS set of  dies by MFT I bought ages ago, from a piece of black card. This top panel was then popped up on pads over the stamped base and the bottom 1/3 was wrapped with twine with a couple of die cut leaves from the stamped scrap and a white embossed LOTV greeting tag added.

OK, now it's your turn. Just remember any style is fine but you must use a traditional stamp in your project.  Pop over to the Fantasy Stampers page for more inspiration from the rest of the team.

I'm joining in over at -

  1. Love this Jules, the autumnal colours work brilliantly with black. Our fruit trees are starting to lose their leaves now, although the grass seems to be having a burst. Not quite time for boots and jumpers yet!! xx

  5. LOVE your design Jules. Stamping a tone-on-tone for the background and then having it peek through the leaf-shaped apertures is genius! Great design. Always inspired when I come by. xx
