Introducing Ink and Flip Butterfly Pattern Stencil

Good morning, time for another Uniko introduction.
Today we have another of Bev's fun and fab Ink n Flip stencils, Butterfly Pattern. It's from the same stable as the Christmas snowflake and tree stencils. Use sinularly or for an all over pattern, just flip your stencil to complete the butterfly. Here are a couple of ideas I came up with.

This first card uses the French Script stamp embossed with Silver EP to create a resist to the stencilling.

I used a couple of  Distress inks to create an all over pattern, blending Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet in a soft romantic pattern. You can just about make out which halves were done on each pass, but with this flip design you could equally go with a pait of contrast inks or even textures. A fussy cut sentiment embossed in white on black completes.

THe contrast between the two halves of the butterfly are a bit more obvious on this design.

I used the same colours of DI but the background was a final pull on my Gelli plate, giving it a soft mix of the same two colours. This time I die cut the panel with the large English Country Garden butterfly die which I then stamped with a mix of both DIs before placing it back into the apperture on a few more die cuts. The sentiment from the English Country Garden set completes.

So what have the rest of the BAs done with their stencils? Why not click the links to find out?
