CAS on Friday Sketch

Evening all. It's time for a new challenge over at HLS CAS. Here's my card for this month's inspiration.

Our theme for the month is -

Lots of ideas went through my head but eventually I decided to use some Tim Holtz 'Wild Flowers' die cuts and the sketch from CAS on Friday. I did rotate it 90 ' but hope that's OK.
The panel and die cut circle were inked with a mix of various DOx inks and gently spritzed with water for a little extra texture before being glued to my base card. The black die cut wild flowers were glued over the panels and a stamped and embossed sentiment strip added to complete.
We are off to a funeral for a friend's mum tomorrow so this card rather summed up the mood, autumn skies and harvest moon. She was in her mid 90's, so a good innings but sad none the less.

So where will wild take you, for a wild night out perhaps or include a wild animal, unsure? Well pop over to the main blog and check out the rest of the fab team here. Just remember these guidelines.

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

  1. Great sympathy card, love the idea of the autumn skies and harvest moon. My first thoughts were sunset, but I like yours better.
