Chocolate Bunny

OK, how to make a masculine Easter card?
Why you might ask, well it's the theme for this week's challenge at Cardz4Guyz.

EASTER/SPRING

I'd got lots of ideas for feminine cards but not so much for a guy. Then I came across this card made using a Stampin Up set, Basket Builder, with a fab sarky greeting. I thought that that would be the way to go so this is the end result.

The actual phrase was 'May all your chocolate be solid' but not wishing to upset SU, I went with this computer generated one and a chocolate coloured rabbit from a free set in a mag last month.
I didn't have any small egg stamps either so cut an egg shaped stencil and inked in a pattern over the top with DIs and a STAMPlorations stencil. The central panel was popped up on pads after cutting with a MFT stitched rectangle die.

I'd like to join in over at -

  4. Hi Jules, I have never done anything with stenciling, but I'm coming to realize it's a really neat effect! I love that you made an egg out of one. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week! Crystal, DT
