Good afternoon folks.
As we are over halfway through January it's time for a new colour duo from Color Hues!
Here's my card using the colours.

I was tempted to down the floral route but I couldn't resist colouring in this little chap that I'd printed off ages ago and was languishing in my to colour box!
Copics were used to colour his kit, B32, 34, 37 and 39 for the Navy and paler blue elements and a mix of various YG greens for the grass, if only ours was this colour now! The outline of the grass stopped short of the edges of my panel in the digi, so I squiggled in a few extra blades with a black fine liner to extend it. I stamped the sentiment, also LOTV onto an MFT die cut banner and added to my image. Two strips of scrap card were coloured with Copic B39 to match the rugby kit and added beneath the image panel before being added to my base card to which I had added some DP in a lime green colourway. I was tempted to leave it without but then I saw the challenge at AYLI! This was actually a scrap from another project so I didn't need to print a new 8 x 8 sheet out.
I love NitWits papers, started when LOTV had a collaboration with NitWits going back over 10 years now. Loved to flip through a brand new pack, the digi ones are easier to store and you only use what you need but I do miss flipping through a brand new pad, one to use and one to keep anyone?
Anyway this is quite a subtle pattern which works with the theme of the card, looks much limier in real life!
So where will these new colours take you? As always we love seeing your makes in the Color Hues gallery but should you need more inspiration please check out our DT as well as our GD Esther. You never know, you could be our next GD, got to be in it to win it!
