Color Hues #17

Hi and welcome to a brand new color pairing at Color Hues.
I must admit my go to theme for these challenges is usually floral but today I went masculine with this music inspired design.

This is the first outing for this MFT Turntable die which I got at Christmas, using the turntable as a record.  I found some slightly shiny black card and die cut a few records and played around with the design. I even cut a few smaller records but eventually, I settled on just this one large disc and a background of Uniko notes, stamped in shades of red and orange. An embossed Paper Smooches sentiment complete.

So where will the colours take you, you haven't failed us yet so we are so looking forward to seeing your creations in our gallery! The rest of the DT have come up with lots of different ideas, so why not take a closer look if you're stumped?

  3. I am always on the lookout for masculine card ideas and I love this one! It's simple but the embossed sentiment says it all. The details on the record look great!
Also, Julie, your link on the challenge page is not working.

  7. Oh my gosh Julie, this is so much fun! I have to case this one day, I have stowed it away in my future projects file. The music notes in the background and the record on top--brilliant! Would be a great card for a guy or gal! Thank you for having me as your guest this week! xo
