A bundle of joy.

Good morning, hope I find you fine and dandy.
The weather is supposed to be a little better this weekend after a drop in temperatures in the week here in Shropshire!
As it's Saturday its time for a new challenge over at Fantasy Stampers.
This time Jan has chosen the theme of -

A NEW BABY

Here is my card for your inspiration.

I used this sketch which was one I liked from Sketch Saturday a couple of months ago and a scrap of NitWits paper with this sweet LOTV image called Balloon Basket, which I picked up at Port Sunlight last October. This is its first outing.
The panel of DP was glued flat to the linen textured base card then using the rest of the A$ sheet of white card I cut a narrow panel, then cut a circular apperture. The outer ring was cut with a slightly larger die then again with the original and then glued over the apperture.
After stamping and colouring the image with Copics I fussy cut it and glued it across the center of the opening. I coloured some thin white satin ribbon with a Copic to match my colouring then wrapped it around the top panel and tied a bow. The greeting from Molly Bloom, was stamped in black, the whole top panel was then popped up on pads.

For more inspiration check out the rest of the DT and why not join in.
If you do join in please remember -
We can only award a Top 3 to projects with traditional 'rubber' or polymer stamping as the main focal point. Digital or die cut images as the main focus do not qualify for the top 3.
It's such a shame when we have to disqualify fantastic projects for not following the rules.
Please don't be put off, just get out those trusty stamps!

I'd like to join in over at -

Everybody Art Challenge - Pastel Tones
Stampin' Royalty  - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations  - Anything Goes option of a sketch (no sketch for me)

  3. This is gorgeous Julie, a great design, lovely paper and such a sweet stamp. The day started out well, Martin went out to play with his new toy...a sprayer to go on Betsy (the tractor!!), he did an empty acre paddock, then three hours later was cursing because the rain came...oops!! xx
