Stamps and Distressing

Good afternoon.
Just because we are blog hopping it doesn't mean that normal service over at STAMPlorations has been suspended! So as it is the first Friday in the month it means a new challenge!
Here is my card -

giving inspiration for the theme of -

I'm not big on the distressing but I used DI to colour and the greeting from the Blossom Overture set is a little distressed!
The flowers are on the latest Stamp Club set  The Birds and The Blooms which I stamped and masked before printing over the top with a large  acrylic block with lemon and green DIs spritzed with a little water. I die cut the raised panel using my MFT pierced rectangle stax dies and popped it up.

Now it's over to you, as usual Shery is offering fantastic prizes, you don't even have to use STAMploration stamps to join in, we'd like it if you did though!

PRIZES
the design team votes on the winner and top picks

Winner
Prize: $10 gift certificate for the shop or 3 digi stamps
+ Guest Designer spot in a future monthly challenge
Top picks
Guest designer spot in a future monthly challenge

Winner and top picks will receive a personalized STAMPlorations guest designer watermark and a personalized guest designer badge to display on their blogs.

FREQUENT PLAYERS
We're doing away with the Frequent Players Spotlight. Instead, those who play in the two (monthly and/or sketch) challenges we host this month AND use a STAMPlorations product (stamp or stencil) will be highlighted, as well as get an entry to the random prize drawing. So play in the Sketch Challenge or Monthly Challenge or both -- your choice! When you enter projects using our products, you'll be in the running to win a STAMPlorations stamp and stencil pack valued at $10. The winner can also opt for a $10 gift certificate.

So no excuses for you not to join us!
For more inspiration check out what the rest of the team have been up to as well as our fab guests this month.

  7. Thank you so much for joining us over at CASology this week! This is a stunning layout for a card, and certainly an idea I am going to CASE. Like your little explosions of subtle colour in contrast to your uncoloured outline stamps. Very pretty!
