You're a star

Morning all, hasn't it been a hot few days? We Brits are never happy, the weather is either too hot or too cold, too wet or too dry. Still it will be good to see the back of all this hot, sticky weather and revert to a 'normal' English summer!
Anyway down to business, here is a card for the brand new challenge at Cardz4Guyz,

I struggled to concentrate with all the heat but eventually with the help of a couple of challenges, came up with this.

Quite a simple design using a background stamp from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media set on a die cut rectangle and some assorted die cut stars, coloured with Copics, some embossed, some doodled over with a white gel pen for added interest. The sentiment is an old mag freebie and the background was popped up on pads. Simples

  1. Lovely card Julie, I love the clean lines and simplicity of it and yet it is a striking design

  2. Just enjoying a bit of breeze in the garden, but it has been exceptionally hot here today. The animals don't like it but, with the breeze, I am hopeful for at least a bit of sleep tonight!! This is a super card, lovely colours and the off the edge star looks great. Stay cool xx

  3. Wonderful take on the sketch--love all the starry goodness!

  4. Really lovely card, also not really our CAS-ual Fridays colors. Anyway Good luck in the challenge!

  5. Very nice card! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays.

  6. That is a lovely card with all those stars! Thanks for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
