Spots and Stripes

Good morning, Happy 4th July to our American friends and I hope you didn't get washed away with the rain last night in the UK!
Looks all set for a good Saturday here, perhaps not so good tomorrow.
Still down to business, as its Saturday there is a new challenge at Fantasy Stampers.
This time with a nod to our American cousins it's

SPOTS n STRIPES

I know not exactly stars but near enough eh?
So without further ado here is my card for your inspiration.

My stamp is by Magnolia, obviously a Tilda but not sure if the name as it was a bargain bucket buy which my friend Di let me use. I used the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and I was  using the colours at CAS Colours and Sketches but I got the wrong turquoise, I think? Please except my apologies if it doesn't fit! I coloured Tilda using Copics to match the NitWits DP and the fussy cut her, mounting her on a circle of white card, 'cos I'd stamped her on some old cardstock that was a different colour to the embossed background, silly me! I added a few stars from a Mama Elephant set, it's really useful.

OK, now it's over to you. Check out the rest of the DT's inspiration here  and join in.
Please remember to use a handstamped image as we cannot include digital images in our top 3.

I'm joining in the fun over at -

  1. What a cutie Jules and I love the layout. We missed the worse weather last night, one deluge at about 11 and a few claps of thunder and that was it...thankfully (I hate thunder & lightning) it's very still and muggy this morning though so I don't think we've quite escaped yet!! xx
