Good morning, Happy 4th July to our American friends and I hope you didn't get washed away with the rain last night in the UK!
Looks all set for a good Saturday here, perhaps not so good tomorrow.
Still down to business, as its Saturday there is a new challenge at Fantasy Stampers.
This time with a nod to our American cousins it's
SPOTS n STRIPES
I know not exactly stars but near enough eh?

So without further ado here is my card for your inspiration.
My stamp is by Magnolia, obviously a Tilda but not sure if the name as it was a bargain bucket buy which my friend Di let me use. I used the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and I was using the colours at CAS Colours and Sketches but I got the wrong turquoise, I think? Please except my apologies if it doesn't fit! I coloured Tilda using Copics to match the NitWits DP and the fussy cut her, mounting her on a circle of white card, 'cos I'd stamped her on some old cardstock that was a different colour to the embossed background, silly me! I added a few stars from a Mama Elephant set, it's really useful.
OK, now it's over to you. Check out the rest of the DT's inspiration here and join in.
Please remember to use a handstamped image as we cannot include digital images in our top 3.

Going Dotty
What a cutie Jules and I love the layout. We missed the worse weather last night, one deluge at about 11 and a few claps of thunder and that was it...thankfully (I hate thunder & lightning) it's very still and muggy this morning though so I don't think we've quite escaped yet!! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the way Tilda sits there on the edge Julie! Great use of the sketch!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at CTS! So good to have you!
Oh what a pretty design, Jules - I love the combination of the embossed spots and the stripy design paper, and Tilda looks so cute with her little feet swinging.

Fab texture using the dots background. Also love how Tilda is sitting with legs hanging. Cute. Thanks for playing along Simon Says Stamp Going Dotty Challenge.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty and I love Tilda stamps - I have a box full of them, sadly neglected of late. Thanks for sharing at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable card! Love the curved edge & those big dots make a great background!
ReplyDeleteI like how you've perched Tilda on the edge of the die-cut curve. Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Your coloring is just divine!
ReplyDeleteI like the addition of the stars to reflect those in her outfit. She looks so cute sitting on the edge of the circle! Thanks for joining us at CC&S this week. Stef x
