Welcome to a scheduled post to show a card I made for this weeks challenge at ATSM.
This week it is our photo inspiration challenge
This is the inspirational photo.
You can see where I'm coming from with my card!
This week we are sponsored by
with a prize of 7 digis.
I used my Uniko gerbera daisy stamp set using both the outline and the solid stamps.
I stamped the solid images in a variety of bright colours on a white card panel, then one outline flower embossed in white EP on a scrap as well as a couple of leaves. After colouring with w/c style in DI's I fussy cut and added them to a die cut tag (Marianne) which I had stamped with a STAMPlorations greeting and embossed in white.
I trimmed the top panel down to leave a gap then mounted it on pads over a kraft base card.
The ribbon and burlap twine I had in the stash.
I did try using a paler gerbera at first but went with a bolder bloom in the end! However I decided to make a softer background to go with the pale daisy and mounted everything flat this time on a white base, adding a thin strip of green card down the edge. The greeting was stamped with Iced Spruce DI and clear embossed.
I quite like the soft look of this one but Al preferred the bolder one. What about you?
OK, that's about it, for more inspiration check out the rest of the fab DT and join in!
