Black and Pink Painted Flowers

Hi folks, it's the second of the month so it's time for a new challenge over at HLS CAS.
Here's my inspiration.

As you can see from above my card is a One Layer one, I know some of you wince at the very thought but with a little forward planning you can achieve great effects.
My jumping off point was the colour challenge over at CAS on Friday, black, white and pink (I got my days crossed so the challenge has closed!). I was pondering my options when I checked out the sketch at Fusion, also showing a pink telephone!
So I decided to use my Altenew Painted Flowers for the focus and stamped them using a mixture of Memento inks. I realised that I must get some more colours as the jump between some of the pinks is too much of a contrast!
When the ink was dry, I masked out the base with Post Its to create the border and filled it in with black Copic pen. I then removed the masks and stamped the sentiment from Altenew's Extra Special set, embossing with clear EP for a bit of texture and shine.
That's it, simples!

For more inspiration from the rst of the fab DT check them out here.
