Morning all.
Well the sun has been shining all week here in the peaceful Shropshire countryside, can't quite believe we have been able to sit outside watching the swallows swoop across the fields and listening to distant bird song watching the sun go down all week.
It can't last, rain is forecast later today and tomorrow, still we need some rain to fill the water butts that are nearly dry. We've not had rain for over a fortnight!
Anyway there's a new challenge starting over at Cardz4Guyz. This week we would love to see your projects on the theme of -
FATHER'S DAY
Here is my card-
Very simple layout, a copy of an image from an old magazine, coloured with Copics. mounted on blue tartan DP and white base card. Love those cute kiddos! Inside it reads
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
As I said a quick and simple card.
For more inspiration please check out the rest of the DT and have a go yourself.
I'd like to join in over at -
Anything Goes
Wonderful card, love the characters and sentiment and your colouring. All comes together just perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant Julie. What a fantastic image and I love the rainbow colours you have used. Dry here in Dorset although very sultry, hope it doesn't thunder, I'm back to work in a mo and can hardly sit at my desk with my fingers in my ears!! xx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Father's day card Julie. The kids are fabulous. It is very hot and stjcky here in Cheshire and we need the rain too. We will probably all be moaning when it finally arrives.
