Morning all.
Is it really a fortnight since our last challenge over at Cardz4Galz?
Well it must be as its now time for another!
This time our theme is -
FUN IN THE SUN
When I made this card my Grandson had been messing around in his paddling pool and we had been sitting on the patio having a cooling ice cream, so that's how this card came about!
This Molly Bloom stamp is really old and I'm not sure of the name as is the paddling pool, also by Molly Bloom.
I sort of used the sketch from Sketch Saturday but laid it on one side and of course I used my favourite aperture over a snippet of NitWits DP.
Molly and the pool were coloured with Copics before being fussy cut.
The top panel had an oval aperture cut in it, then it was embossed with a new EF I picked upon the way home from Port Sunlight! The strip on the sketch was turned into grass by using a couple of snippets of NitWits DP from the bits box, edged with a MS punch. I didn't put a sentiment on as it looked quite busy already.
OK, that's it from me, pop over to the blog for more fab inspiration and why not join in?

Spring into Summer
This made me smile Julie, such great stamps and a perfect little scene. I'm rather jealous, our pool finally went to the dump last year after many patches and its been so hot I could have done with a dip!! xx
ReplyDeleteLoving this little girl and her pool! Thanks for playing along at Sketch Saturday!
