Girls just wanna have fun.

Morning all.
Christmas is fast approaching and the Christmas party season is upon us. So as it is time for a new challenge at Cardz4Galz we thought that this theme would be very appropriate.

ANYONE FOR COCKTAILS?

Here is my interpretation.

I knew exactly which stamp I was going to use but what about the layout. In the end I came across the sketch at Fusion and used that as my springboard. the girls dresses, I kept festively red and green and added a skyline on the inked panel. The name of the stamp is 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun' from Stamping Bella and has that as the sentiment but I decided to use the sentiment from my MFT Toasty Greetings set as I thought it went well with the theme of Christmas parties. It could just as easily have been a birthday card or even a New Year card with a change of sentiment.

Believe in the magic

Hi, I'm back again just before bedtime to announce the start of our latest challenge over at ATSM.
This week is is appropriately -

HOLIDAY

Here is my caed

I needed some OL cards that would go through the post easily so decided on this design of masked panel and heat embossed snowflakes. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion and the snowflakes Personal Impressions along with inking with Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean DI. The extra snowflakes were added in the same colours, the larger ones heat embossed with Silver Pearl EP.

This week we are sponsored by

Gold or Silver

I chose silver pearl here because it gives the snowflakes a soft sparkle and works really well with the blue background to give the frosty feel I was looking for.

Christmas Present

Morning all.
Back this time to announce the latest challenge over at Cardz4Guyz. This week we would love to see your cards with

CHRISTMAS ANIMALS

Here is my card

A very quick CAS card as we were baby sitting our lovely Grandson over the weekend so craft time was limited!
For my Christmas animal I used LOTV's Present Trio stamp, but decided to only use one of the bears. I stamped the bear then coloured and fussy cut him then stamped him again on Christmas DP so I could paper piece the present. It was Christmasified it a little more by adding a gold bow and tag. Behind the aperture I stuck some NitWits holly paper to the base card and popped the top panel up on pads over  it, after stamping the greeting also from LOTV. The bear was then replaced in the center of the die cut space using foam pads.
Told you it was quick!

Warmest Winter Wishes

Good morning folks.
It's that time of the month when I'm here to announce the start of a brand new challenge over at Cards und More. This week we are sponsored by Kenny K for our theme of

BRR, IT'S COLD

Here is my card using Ski Bunny Winter Sports

I kept the layout simple and decoupaged the girl after colouring with Copics, to give her depth and scribbled a frame around the edge of the top panel with a black fine liner. The sentiment was from a set that came free with a magazine I believe a few years ago.
For more chilly inspiration, why not check out the rest of the girls here and join us.

Peace Love and Joy

Morning all.
Hope I find you well and not too frazzled with your Christmas prep.
We have our last challenge of the year over at Fantasy Stampers -

CAS CHRISTMAS

So, we'd love to see your stamped clean and simple Christmas cards, it's as easy as that!
Here is my take on the challenge

For my card I kept it to one layer and simply stamped the candle group from STAMPlorations' Holiday Sketches. I embossed it with gold EP then washed in some DI. The sentiment is from a Uniko set which was also embossed with gold EP.
