Good afternoon and welcome to this post to announce the start of a brand new monthly challenge over at STAMPlorations.
Here is my card for your inspiration.
You can use the sketch
or the theme or combine both to get your creative juices flowing.
For this card I stuck with the sketch element of this month's challenge.
I recently saw a video for a technique using layers of clear embossed images to resist ink here, so thought I would use the technique for the bottom half of the card. I wanted a springlike flavour for this panel so used Twisted Citron DI as my chosen ink. The stamps I used for this technique were two of the plain Trendy Leaves set.
Once I had a panel I was happy with I die cut a 'happy from it and then raised it up on a couple more layers cut from scrap white card. The 'birthday ' is from the the Balloons and Banners set stamped in black.
So that's my project, please check out the main blog for all those Ts and Cs and details of all the other DT projects as well as this month's fab GDs, Ashwini, Mac Mable and Conil.
I'd like to join in over at -
