This week it is our photo inspiration challenge.
You can take what ever inspiration you want, the colours, the flowers, the distressed paintwork, the choice is totally your's.
For my card I chose to go with the flowers and the colours.
For this interpretation, I used my new Memento Dew drops that Santa sent, a new set to me from STAMPlorations, Dee's Artsy Impressions Frames and Flowers and that new happy birthday die from my daughter.
Using Dandelion, Canteloupe, Lilac Posies, and second impression Lady Bug, I stamped clusters of flower heads, then with Pear Tart and SI Cottage Ivy the leaves. To add more definition I added some detail with a black fine liner and then filled the spaces in between with a pale orange w/c marker dots.
My die cut 'happy birthday' was layered up three times before being added to the trimmed top panel and then mounted on a coordinating dark pink base card.
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is
(Prize $12 gift certificate)
For more inspiration check out the rest of the both old and new fabulous DT and join in. Why not use some of your new stash, we'd love to see what you got from Santa!
