Don't be a square

Good morning all, and welcome to my post to announce the latest challenge over at Cardz4Guyz.
This week our challenge to you is to make a project for a male that is -

Anything but a Square

Here is my interpretation, a bit boring as it might not be a square but it is a rectangle!

I promised to show you all what I did (here) with the man from the freebie set I got over Christmas, so here he is, very dapper.

I needed a card for my Nephew's birthday, so had to keep the design pretty flat to be post friendly. I was tempted to repeat the layout of the lady card but in the end went with my fave aperture sketch.
The background to the skyline was inked using a stencil using my MFT sunray die but it doesn't really show up in the light. I've been waiting to take a photo until that rare thing around here a bright day, so I quickly took a snap before the rain came back! I layered up the skyline with dark gray and black die cuts adding the Copic coloured and fussy cut chap and the clapper board from the free set to the top panel along with some gold stars. I gave the edges of the card a little lift with some pale gold EP.

Please check out the fab inspiration of the rest of the DT and join in.

I'd like to join in over at -
