Music is the Word

 Good evening.
Just popping by to share a couple of cards I made for my daughter who wanted some music themed ones to give to her choir leaders when she leaves. It should be on a high as her last performance is at the Edinburgh Fringe in August!
I had plenty of ideas and I thought plenty of time but as she is here tomorrow and the challenge at ATCAS is closing I thought I should better get a wriggle on!
A few years ago I got a sheet of stamps in a mag that were music themed so that was my first port of call and here are the cards.

I hope they fit the bill or I will be frantically make some more tomorrow!

Not sure about which colours to use so I went for a rainbow, I know that Nich loves a rainbow.
For the first card, I stamped the mic then heat embossed it. Then I cut a mask and placed it over it before stamping a circle of treble clefs and notes with DIs, first 1/3rd with Salty Ocean, then overlapping with Picked Raspberry and finally with Mustard Seed to create my rainbow. The sentiment is from the same set simply stamped in black, definitely a OLC!

The second card uses the same rainbow of colours but this time I used some STAMPlorations stash and Wilted Violet, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron DIs as well. The keyboard was stamped on scrap and fussy cut, glued over the rainbow and a few extra notes and sentiment stamped in black.
