Penguin Merry Christmas

Morning all.
Today I'm sharing a card for the new Male Room challenge where I'm their GD!

So a chance for you to get an early start on your Christmas stash! I was very good earlier in the year and have made quite a few cards but the late spring has found me fettling the garden rather than adding to my Christmas stash! Those weeds wont weed themselves!
Anyway, for this, I used one of the cute penguin digis from LOTV. I printed off a load last year and this little chap was languishing in the to be coloured box on my desk, as was the striped background. I made a batch of these strip backgrounds as its much easier to do loads at once and had this left over. They are a great way to use up all your scraps, of which I have tons, colour sorted in filing trays, sad I know, but easy to find the correct colour and Covid has given me plenty of time to tidy up my stash!
The layout is one I use a lot, in fact I probably made some like this for last Christmas, fussy cut, Copic coloured, penguin, background and a die cut white frame on an A5 white base card. The sentiment is part STAMPlorations die cut sentiment in white card and fun foam and an ancient Woodware stamped greeting.
So for more masculine Christmas ideas, please check out the Male Room DT here.

I'd like to join in over at:-

  5. The striped background is lovely. I agree, it would be easier to make a bunch of these backgrounds at once, rather than one at a time. Good for you for using up things in your stash. Great sketch - one that is very versatile. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More!
