Hi and welcome to a very early scheduled post. I'm very excited to announce that the reason for this early start is that I am guesting over at JUGS for the month of September. Here is my first card for you.
Our theme this week is -
This is a card I made for my Sister -in law and husband's golden wedding anniversary. Sorry the pic is a little dark but taking a pic of gold mirror card as well as glitter card is a mite tricky!
I totally went with the gold theme here, using a foliage die from MB, a free rose die from Altenew as well as sentiments from Uniko and a CC diecut background.
For the roses I cut some of the layers from a panel of watercolour paper and some from glitter card. The w/c die cuts were then coloured using Zigs in golden yellows. The foliage was also cut from various scraps of gold card and arranged around the 3 roses. My background panel was cut from pale cream card using the CC die and glued onto a matching 5 x 7 cream base card.
The celebrate was stamped and embossed with gold EP before being fussy cut. The sentiment strip was stamped, the 50 cut from mirror card added and then slipped under the bouquet.
OK, that's it from me but please check out the rest of the team here and join in.
An absolutely gorgeous card to celebrate a milestone anniversary! The roses...swooning! So thrilled that you'll be spending September with us over at Just Us Girls! Your cards are always an inspiration!
