Morning all.
After a fab weekend away with my lovely daughter to see Sir Rod Stewart in Liverpool, I'm back in my craft room. I'd waited 44 years to get to see Rod after skiving off school to buy tickets for his concert at Sheffield City Hall only to see the SOLD OUT signs put up as I approached the sales desk! Hubster is not a big fan and only puts up with my blasts from the CD player so he wasn't interested in taking me to a concert, so Nich, bless her decided to take a hit for the team so to speak.
We had a girlie day shopping before a fab meal and of course me singing my heart out to the old classics, before a brisk walk back to the hotel alongside the Liverpool docks, with the lights twinkling on the water.
Anyway I have managed to produce a card for this week's challenge over at Cardz4Guyz where it is my choice of theme. I chose -
FEATURE A REINDEER
I chose this topic before I realised that I would be away but hope you like this little card.
I've had this stamp for a long time, it was part of a set that must be over 10 years old, so I'm not sure I remember the brand, it could be Papermania.
The layout is from Sketch Saturday and the papers from a LOTV kraft Christmas stack. I coloured the cute reindeer with Copics and gave his red nose a coating of Glossy Accents edging the DP with a little Ground Espresso DI before assembling. The mount was made by colouring a border in brown Copic on kraft before mounting Rudolf flat on top. A few square red gems were placed in the top right corner to complete.
For more fab inspiration please check out the the rest of the DT here.
I'd like to join in over at -

ReplyDeleteAnd you saw Rod, how lovely, many, many yeards since I saw him and like you skived off school to queue for tickets, did the same for the Beatles as well for their one and only appearance in Cambridge.
