Many Thanks

Morning all.
The really weird weather continues here. After an absolutely awful Saturday, Sunday was gorgeous and sunny just as yesterday. The weatherman says that it is getting warmer so no rush to get the last of the tomatoes in just yet!
Over at Cardz4Guyz we have a brand new challenge for you. This week we would like you to focus on the theme of

NATURE

That's a pretty broad theme and reflects many of the challenges going on in blogland at the moment.
Here is my interpretation.

This started life as a OLC but just as I was about to put the sentiment on, it fell off the block onto the top of the card!!!! Never mind a bit of judicious trimming and all was not lost!
The stamp was from a bargain bucket at Port Sunny, Crafty Individuals 5 for £3, I do love a bargain.
I stamped and embossed it in black then added some crystals of Dark Brown Brusho and spritzed it with water and let the magic happen. On my way home on Saturday, from Port Sunlight stamp fair, I drove past trees that were definitely turning, mainly horse chestnuts but at least the colour is upon us at last. Using some green left over in the palette from a previous session, I washed in some green under the trees and left it at that. The sentiment was also from a bargain from PS, this time Inkadinkado.
The stitched borders were from MFT. They just give an impression rather than cut.
Please check out the rest of the team and join us this week,we'd love to see your projects.

I'd like to join in over at -

  8. Such great colours Julie. The leaves are just on the turn now and falling off the fruit trees. The maize has been cut all around here so more places to explore with my hairy kids!!
