Good Morning all.
My doesn't time fly were are almost halfway through the year already!
Well the British summer weather has reverted to type, wet and grey!
Still the raised beds certainly appreciate these heavy downpours, even if the dog and I don't!
Anyway rain means more time to craft and it just so happens that there is a new challenge over at Cardz4Guyz.

I had a lot of fun playing with this one layer card. The other day I came across a technique shared by Jennifer McGuire (here). It allows you to create a white hi light behind a solid stamp. She used a greeting but I decided that this Visible Image stamp would work just as well.
To get this effect, you stamp the image in black then stamp to one side with Versamark just off register then again over the black image then heat emboss in clear EP.
Then it was time to get inky and make the background.
The stencil for this card is one from STAMPlorations, Retro Circles and I chose to use a couple of blue DIs, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean. First I covered the whole card with Salty Ocean then overlaid the stencil and inked again and repeated with Blueprint Sketch towards the edges, it gives a halo effect restricting the darker colour to the edges. A quick polish with a bit of tissue over the central image and a couple of sentiments stamped in black and the card was finished.OK, for more inspiration please check out the rest of the DT and then why not join in this week?
I'd like to join in over at.
