Afternoon folks.
I've been having a bit of a play in the craftroom but I'm not sure if I like the end result.
What do you think?
I've tried this before here using a butterfly image so thought it would work with this large gerbera image too.
I stamped and then masked the large gerbera daisy from Uniko then added some leaves and coloured the image with Copics. The panel was then cut with a Sizzix hexagon plate die and reassembled on a white base card. The gaps looked a little too wide and perhaps too much of the image was lost, so I penciled in the missing sections of the stamp which improved it slightly. I popped up one or two of the hexagons for added interest.

ReplyDeleteI think it looks awesome! The blue pearls balanced it, too. And whatever you did to pencil in the missing pieces duds the trick for me. Great card!

ReplyDeleteWell, I think this card turned out amazingly beautiful, Julie! I love how you varied the dimension on the hexies and your Copic coloring is fabulous!
