Christmas Angel

Morning all.
On Tuesday I had to run a little errand to pick up some more lime for my hubby. He is currently pointing our barn and it is taking on Forth Bridge proportions! Anyway, it gave me a chance to call in at my old stomping ground of the Craft and Hobby Store in Heckmondwike. I haven't seen the two Mandys for about a year, so it was good to catch up. Mandy told me about their challenge blog so I may enter.

Now for today's card.

Christmas Angel

This is a Christmas version of the one I made for my daughter's friends 50th.
This time I used some brown matt card and distressed it with an old Farrow and Ball emulsion paint tester pot, stamped snowflakes then embossed in white. The edges were then distressed using a distressing tool to create the darker border. The circle (Nestabilities) and tag (Die'Sire) were stamped with snowflakes in brown and then some frontage was added. The little trees were some Cuttlebug cut and emboss from years ago I'd forgotten all about but found them when I was clearing out one of my craft drawers. Cut in white card then edged in Tea Dye from Tim Holtz.
The snowflake is cut from a Sizzix die and the pearl brad I bought from Craft and Hobby Store in Heckmondwike a couple of years ago.
The ribbons and button are from the infamous stash. The image is from LOTV and coloured in Copics.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Autumn Colours - Heck of a Challenge
Bows and Brads - Crafty Little Fairies
Winged Creations - A Creative Romance

Thanks for dropping by.
