Fun in the Snow

Morning all.
I'm posting today to share a couple of cards I made for the latest challenge at Cardz4Galz.
This time our theme is -

CONTEMPORARY CHRISTMAS

OK, what to do?
I decided to go with a contemporary colour for mine and a cute penguin image.

In fact I enjoyed making it so much, I made two!

I think I may like this one better. I made the first on Monday as I was supposed to be at my son's yesterday but the snow in Yorkshire put paid to that so I did some crafting instead and made the second. The snowflakes on this were made using an absolutely ancient red rubber stamp (possibly Penny Black), well half of one as they had sold out of the original after a class, so 2 of us decided to cut the last one in half! I don't even know the make! The penguin juggling is from a MFT set Toasty Greetings, coloured in Copics and fussy cut. I gave the penguin a hat and scarf to match the background of DI over the embossed snow.

For more contemporary inspiration, please check out the rest of the galz on the blog.
