Summer at the beach

Morning all!
I can't believe it's been a whole two weeks since my Swindon adventure but as it's time for a new challenge at Fantasy Stampers it must be.
This week our theme is -

At The Beach

Now my card was started for another DT challenge post, but the one I made for this post didn't have enough stamping on so I swapped them around as the theme was more or less the same. I guess you can work out which one I mean by looking at the background for this one and the cheeky chappie!

For this card I used a stamp by a now defunct company, Paper Pretties that I won a few years ago over at Creative Inspirations, I think. He was stamped in Memento black then coloured with Copics before fussy cutting him out. The background was made by inking with DI, Tea Dye and Salty Ocean and adding the foam with an embossing pen and white EP. The panel was cut with a MFT die and glued flat on the base card. I stamped the greetings, LOTV, on black embossed with white EP and adhered them flat. It looked a tad empty so I added a few dew drops to complete.
That's about it then from me. For more inspiration please check out the rest of the DT.

I'd like to join in over at -

  1. Such a fun and bright birthday card. Also great for a guy. This will also be perfect for one entry as an anything goes creation for our challenge below.
