Welcome 2016

While I was out between Christmas and the New Year, I bought a copy of Creative Stamping magazine, you know for a quiet read when everyone had gone home!
Along with the mag came a set of stamps with a Hollywood glamour theme, I thought they could be quite useful so I indulged.
Having played around with the stamps I decided to make a card or two with the results, so here is one of them.

I used quite a few different bits and bobs for this, a MFT skyline die, Happy from my Balloons and Banners set from Dee's Artsy Inpressions, digits from Uniko's Classic Numbers, an embossed star panel courtesy of my friend Di  and of course the glamourous lady from the free set.
To make the lady I had to stamp the dress and then made a mask before stamping again with the glamourous lady, the martini is from the same set.
To create the lights in the buildings I first cutb the skyline in black then without taking the black die cut out I partially cut again with some glittery hammered gold card this time. The sentiment was die cut with a MFT banner from a Blueprint set. The skyline was popped up on pads above the starry background and the lady was glued flat onto the top panel then popped up on pads over the embossed stars.
There was also a dapper gent with the lady, but more of him later!

I would like to join in over at :-
