Penguin Take Two

Good morning folks.
It's another blustery day here. I was only saying to my husband the other day that I can't remember a November early December when the weather has been as windy as this. The grass is continuing to grow in the mild weather but as it keeps raining I can't get on to cut it!
Anyway enough of that, over at Fantasy Stampers we are heading for our final challenge of the year and appropriately our theme is -

CAS Christmas

Hopefully I have all my Christmas cards made but if you need some a short notice I think CAS, Clean and Simple is the way to go.
For my card I used another of the little penguins from the LOTV trio set.

I used another of my linen effect card bases plus the half I had left over from here and I've used the same technique as well, which happens to be a favourite of mine, the die cut aperture with a panel of DP.
This time I referenced the sketch at HLS, placing it centally and popping up the cental panel up on pads. The wide frame and central panel add interest in what is basically a very simple card. The little penguin was stamped, coloured with Copics then fussy cut and also popped up in the aperture above a panel of DP.
OK, that's about it from me for the moment.
Please bob over to the main Fantasy Stampers site for more inspiration from the DT and why not join in.
PLEASE REMEMBER the focus of you project must be STAMPED.

I'd like to join in over at -

  2. Hi Julie
I love this cute little penguin. CAS are a great way of batch making cards especially at this time of the year.
The year here is very odd, warm and windy. I have lost count how many times I have had to rscue my wheelie bin from down the road just recently.
    Take care
