Making a Mark

Morning all. hope I find you well and welcome to September!!
I can't believe it's already 3/4 of the year gone.
Anyway it's time for a new challenge over at Cardz4Guyz. This week it's my challenge and I've come up with the theme of -

LET'S COLOUR

I love a bit of colouring, I find it very therapeutic. Recently my daughter found the relaxation of colouring and I'm sure I read somewhere that it is now regarded as beneficial in stress relief, so get out those crayons, pens or paints and join us. Just make sure it's suitable for a male recipient young or old.
Here's my card.

After choosing my own subject I was struggling with which image to use. but looking around blogland I came across the latest sketch at Sketch Saturday ( regular visitors will know I love a good sketch, haven't really got a fave but love to use them to inform my layouts) and a partially coloured image of this little footballer. My daughter came around at the weekend and took a load of cards away with her so I'm replenishing my stock of little boys cards. As my Grandson is going back to school on Wednesday, I'm sure his social whirl will start again and need the odd age 6 card!

The image is from LOTV, Goalie Saves. My Grandson, loves playing in goal on the grass at the back and frequently organises the family into teams. I used Copics to colour but instead of colouring the ball I cut out a stamped football from my friend Jen's set which I had stamped a load of, last time I was at her house for some crafting, shaped with an embossing tool , then popped up on pads. I used papers from the Nitwits collection All Spaced Out and a strip of scrap from the box. I added a few stars and a number six in one corner and added a Happy Birthday banner under the image.

That about wraps it up for me but for more inspiration check out the rest of the DT's fab projects
